The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) on Tuesday stated that internet disruptions and slow speed issues will be resolved by the end of October.

According to PTA sources, the installation and upgrading of the Web Management System (WMS) will be completed by October 20.

The PTa sources further revealed that the installation of the WMS will also help prevent attacks on the internet system.

PTA sources said that with the upgrade, a capacity of 8 to 9 terabytes can be managed.

They also mentioned that the installation of the management system began in 2019.

Earlier this month, PTA Chairman Major General (retd) Hafeezur Rahman said that ongoing issues will be resolved by the end of October.
