In a crackdown at Adiala Jail, security agencies have detained six additional individuals linked to the facilitation and message relaying for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.

Among those detained are two women—specifically, two lady warders—a sweeper, and a security camera operator. Their mobile phones have also been seized.

Since August 14, authorities have taken a total of 13 individuals into custody in connection with the ongoing investigation.

Previously, intelligence agencies initiated an investigation into two former Adiala Jail officials over allegations of aiding the incarcerated PTI founder, Imran Khan, according to sources.

Former Deputy Superintendent Muhammad Akram and Assistant Superintendent Bilal were interrogated by intelligence officials in Rawalpindi concerning their alleged involvement in giving special assistance to PTI founder Imran Khan. These officials were dismissed from their roles on June 21 following recommendations from the intelligence agencies.
