The Hong Kong Super Sixes, a prestigious event in the local cricket scene, is set to return later this year.

Cricket Hong Kong (CHK) has announced that the Hong Kong Super Sixes 2024 will take place from November 1 to 3 at Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground, ending a seven-year break.

CHK officials anticipate participation from 12 countries in the three-day event, which is set to offer exciting and action-packed cricket for fans.

The tournament will feature 12 teams, each with six players, competing over three days. This format aims to deliver fast-paced and thrilling cricket, highlighting the sport’s most exciting aspects.

We are excited to bring back this iconic event that showcases our city as a truly world city and a sporting capital of East Asia to the world and our cricket credentials,” said Burji Shroff, the CHK chairman.

The Hong Kong Sixes, held annually from 1992 until 2017, has showcased cricket greats like India’s Sachin Tendulkar, West Indies’s Brian Lara, and Australia’s Shane Warne.
