Zulfiqar Ahmed, a well-known businessman and owner of Paracha Textiles, Meezan Oil, and Cola Next, has been reported missing in Karachi.

According to family sources, Ahmed was last seen being forcibly taken away by armed individuals wearing masks. The abduction took place on Mauripur Road in Keamari, where masked armed men forced Zulfiqar Ahmed and his partner, Qaiser, into a double cabin truck at gunpoint.

Witnesses reported that Qaiser, the abducted partner, was released shortly after the incident. However, the businessman’s family is encountering difficulties in filing a First Information Report (FIR) at the local police station.

On Thursday, the Sindh High Court issued notices to the Ministry of Interior, the provincial home department, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), and other relevant authorities.

Anber Zulfiqar filed a petition with the Sindh High Court, stating that her husband, Zulfiqar Ahmed, the managing director of Paracha Textile Mills and Mezan Group, was kidnapped by unidentified armed men on July 23. He was taken while traveling to Clifton with a friend, Qaiser, from his office.
