UAE introduces new multi-entry visa

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has released a new multi-entry visit visa for family and friends. This visa lets foreigners stay in the UAE for 30, 60, or 90 days without needing a local sponsor or guarantor.

For this program, people can apply for the visa to visit close relatives like parents, brothers, children, or spouses. Proof of the connection must be shown, such as a marriage or birth certificate.

Friends can also apply, but they need to give a good reason for the visit, like going to an important event or spending time with close friends.

Applicants must meet certain standards in order to be eligible. Some of these are showing a copy of their passport that is still good for at least six months, two recent photos, and proof of their finances.

For salaried people, you need either a salary certificate or a job contract.

Partners or owners of a business must show a joint contract or a business licence.

You can apply for the visa on the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs-Dubai (GDRFA) website, through a mobile app, or at any of the customer service centres in the UAE. Those who want to apply must send in the necessary paperwork, pay the fees, and go through the approval process.

This visa is especially helpful for Pakistanis who want to visit family or friends in the UAE without having to go through the trouble of getting sponsored.
