WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump has barred transgender troops from serving in the United States armed forces.

As per details, Donald Trump, who signed more than 100 executive orders on his first day in office also included the repeal of provisions allowing transgender troops to serve in the military.

Trump in his first administration had also stopped transgender troops from serving, which former President Joe Biden eliminated.

Trump repealed the Biden-era executive order instead of bringing a new law.

In a separate set of executive orders, Trump declared that the government would recognize only two sexes — male and female. He also ended diversity and inclusion programmes across all federal agencies.

The Defence Department 2019 data shows that up to 8,000 transgender people served in the armed forces, just before Trump’s first ban took effect.

The President has also announced to expel millions of undocumented immigrants.

During the inauguration prayer ceremony of President Donald Trump, the pastor asked the newly sworn president to “have mercy” on immigrant

ts and transgender youngsters.

As Trump and Vice President JD Vance watched with their families, Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde delivered a sermon at the National Cathedral. “In the name of our God, I ask you to have mercy upon the people in our country who are scared now,” she said.
