The toboggan ride in Ras Al Khaimah located in United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been “temporarily closed”.

According to Visit Jebel Jais, “this is only a temporary closure and will be reopened soon.”

Jebel Jais is the mountain in UAE at a height of 1,934 metres above sea level, it is the highest peak in UAE and home to a host of adrenaline-pumping activities.

Just 2 hours away from Dubai by road, it is the perfect weekend getaway for thrill-seekers.

Meanwhile, the ride which is temporarily closed in the mountains known as “Jais Sledder”. It is the region’s highest and longest toboggan ride and an eight-minute ride along a low-slung track and can reach speeds of up to 40km/h.

All other rides and attractions, including the Jais Flight – the world’s longest zipline – are operating as usual. This has been confirmed by the staff of Jais Adventure Park.

Visitors can book tickets online. Only tickets for the sledder are sold at the counter.

Amusement places in UAE

Earlier, it was reported some of these attractions in UAE saw a rise in prices, with some making the distinction on the basis of certain categories and for specific visitors.

The places included Dubai’s Butterfly Garden, Miracle Garden, Glow Garden and Dubai Parks and Resorts.
