The new rules stipulate that visitors must maintain a safe distance from the moving crowd when taking photographs, ensuring that their actions do not interfere with the flow of pilgrims. Additionally, capturing images of sacred rituals or personal moments is prohibited unless explicit permission is granted by those involved.

Underscoring the importance of privacy, the Ministry urged pilgrims to avoid photographing fellow worshippers without their consent. The guidelines also call on visitors to limit the time spent taking photos, urging them to prioritise prayers and religious activities over photography.
