In an unusual case of theft, a man and his accomplice were taken into custody in Bengaluru for stealing motorbikes to pay for their friend’s cancer-stricken wife’s medical care.
Indian media sources state that the event happened in Bengaluru and that Ashok, a 30-year-old male, was arrested by the police. After divorcing his wife, Ashok moved in with his buddy Satish. He was jailed for stealing motorbikes to finance his friend’s wife’s cancer treatment.

The police also arrested 34-year-old Satish, also known as Sathya, and recovered eight stolen motorcycles worth. Ashok initially tried to gather money by borrowing from various people but failed to collect enough funds, prompting him to commit theft.
