Recent discussions regarding the beginnings of Covid have diverged, with some suggesting that the coronavirus may have accidentally leaked from a laboratory in China, while others argue for a natural origin. The latest evaluation is unlikely to resolve the ongoing discussion. Intelligence officials indicate that resolution may remain elusive, primarily due to insufficient cooperation from Chinese authorities.
As of 2024, 7,010,681 people died from Covid outbreak. However, the fatality rate is still being assessed.
