A CV of Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates from when he was 18 years old has gained viral attention on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), revealing early signs of his future success.

The CV highlights Gates’ proficiency in various programming languages and notes that at the time, his salary was an impressive $35,000—a significant sum for a student. It also references his partnership with Paul Allen, with whom he later co-founded Microsoft in 1975.

Gates’ early fascination with computer programming began at age 13, eventually leading him and Allen to develop MS-DOS, a breakthrough operating system that helped define Microsoft’s success. In 1985, the company launched Windows, a graphical interface for MS-DOS, which transformed the personal computing industry.

In 2000, Gates shifted focus to philanthropy, founding the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to tackle global challenges such as poverty, health, and education. Gates currently serves as a technology consultant for Microsoft.
