The Punjab government has made good progress on its solar project, and the plan to offer free solar systems is ready.

Two districts, Rajanpur and Attock, have been selected for the initial distribution of free solar systems, with the project scheduled to commence in October.

The project will be rolled out in phases. In this initial phase, solar systems will be provided at no cost to consumers who use up to 200 units of electricity.
