The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted hot and humid weather across the country today (Friday), with a chance of rain in several cities over the weekend.
In Karachi, although the heat persists, the city currently experiences cloudy skies with a possibility of thunderstorms later today.
Lahore is currently grappling with extreme heat, but there’s a glimmer of hope on the horizon: rainfall is anticipated Friday night or early Saturday morning. Similarly, Islamabad is also set to experience refreshing showers.
Peshawar’s weather is expected to remain sunny today, with cloudy conditions anticipated next week.
Quetta may experience windy weather today, followed by sunny weather throughout the coming week.
Earlier this week, the PMD predicted rainfall and thunderstorms in major areas of Punjab and Sindh, with some regions in KP and Balochistan also expecting rain, excluding Quetta.
