Despite including experienced  footballers to the team, such as Otis Khan, Easah Suliman and others, the ranking of Pakistan men’s football team hasn’t improved much.

Last year in October, the national football team secured a historic win against Cambodia in Islamabad. It was the first time that Pakistan’s men’s football team won a qualifying game.

However, despite early hopes, Pakistan failed to impress in the second round. Green Shirts lost all their games against Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Tajikistan.

Pakistan Football Team Players:

Despite suffering back to back defeats, Pakistan football team players have been making significant progress. Just recently, Pakistani striker Adeel Younas and center-back Waqar Baloch are reportedly close to joining FK Difai Agsu, a prominent club in Azerbaijan’s second-tier football league.

According to sources, the two players are currently negotiating with the club. Both the players are expected don the Difai Agsu jersey for the upcoming season.

It is pertinent to mention that Adeel Younas has played four games for the national team under head coach Stephen Constantine. Meanwhile, Waqar Baloch played against Saudi Arabia and Tajikistan recently.
