A wedding celebration in Telangana turned violent on August 28 when a dispute over the amount of mutton curry served led to a clash between the groom’s and bride’s families. The altercation, which quickly escalated into a stone-throwing brawl, resulted in injuries and police intervention.
The incident occurred in the Nizamabad district, where festivities turned chaotic after members of the groom’s family complained about being served insufficient mutton curry. The argument with the cook rapidly intensified, prompting both families to engage in physical confrontations.
Videos of the altercation, which surfaced on social media on Thursday, depict attendees in a frenzied scuffle, with stone-throwing and attempts by onlookers to break up the fight. Police arrived at the scene to restore order and manage the situation.

Reports indicate that eight individuals were injured in the clash and were subsequently taken to Nizamabad Government Hospital. Following the disruption, the police filed a First Information Report (FIR) against 11 people for their involvement in the violence.
