The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics has released its weekly inflation data, showing a 0.01 per cent increase in inflation this week, raising the overall inflation rate to 14.36 per cent.
According to the report, in the past week, prices of 15 items increased, 14 items decreased, and 22 items remained stable. The price of tomatoes rose by Rs7.40 per kilogram, while the price of live chicken increased by Rs16.07 per kilogram.

The report also indicates that electricity rates increased by 26 paise per unit over the week. Additionally, prices of various items saw significant changes: chickpeas rose by Rs9.26, garlic by Rs12 per kilogram, beef by Rs11 per kilogram, and mutton by up to Rs14 per kilogram.
Included in the list of items with increased prices are fresh milk, yogurt, ghee, and basmati rice. On the other hand, bananas became cheaper by Rs8 per dozen, moong dal by Rs8, and a 20-kilogram bag of flour decreased by up to Rs17.
