The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has announced that monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal are set to enter the eastern parts of the country starting June 26th.
Furthermore, a low-pressure system has been identified south of Indian Gujarat, influencing the weather patterns in Pakistan.
Sindh: From June 26th to July 1st, various regions including Karachi, Hyderabad, and Sukkur will experience rain, wind, and thundershowers, with isolated incidents of heavy rainfall.

Punjab/Islamabad: Starting June 27th, areas such as Islamabad, Lahore, and Rawalpindi are expected to witness rain, wind, thundershowers, and isolated hailstorms. Southern Punjab cities like Bahawalpur and Multan will also see similar weather from June 26th to 30th.
Gilgit-Baltistan/Kashmir: From June 28th to July 1st, rain, wind, and thunderstorms are predicted in regions including Skardu and Muzaffarabad, with a few heavy falls likely in Kashmir.
Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa: The province will experience rain, wind, and thundershowers with isolated heavy falls from June 28th to July 1st. Key areas affected include Peshawar, Swat, and Abbottabad.
Balochistan: Rain, wind, and thundershowers are forecasted for regions like Lasbella and Khuzdar from June 26th to 28th.
The PMD warns that heavy rains may lead to urban and flash floods in major cities including Islamabad and Lahore, and hilly areas of Kashmir from June 28th to 30th.
