Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif, like millions of proud Pakistanis, celebrated javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem’s record-breaking performance at the Olympics with great enthusiasm.

In a heartwarming video, the prime minister is seen watching the event live, waving his hands in the air, clearly moved by Nadeem’s extraordinary achievement.

Following the event, PM Sharif took to X to express his admiration for the javelin thrower.

In his tweet, he lauded Arshad Nadeem for making history, not only by securing a gold medal but also by setting a new Olympic world record with an astonishing throw of 92.97 meters.

Arshad ended Pakistan’s 32-year wait for success at the Games by clinching the gold medal in Paris.
