A video of two families fighting at a restaurant in Karachi’s Defence (DHA) area went viral on social media on Monday.
The footage showed the families exchanging slaps and punches during the fight.
Case Registered
A case has been registered at the Darakhshan Police Station at the behest of Shahid Lashari Baloch. According to the First Information Report , Baloch, who was at the local bank, claims that he and his family were enjoying their meal at the restaurant when the incident occurred.
The man in the FIR alleged that hiis sister-in-law, sitting by an adjacent table, moved a chair towards Baloch’s table, reportedly causing the opposing family to begin fighting. Baloch informed the police that a woman from the other family subsequently retaliated by pushing his sister to the floor.
Things became more heated when the brawl got more serious. According to Baloch’s complaint, the woman who pushed his sister-in-law began shouting at them, and the two men from the opposing camp also started beating their family and sitting at the table.
More people were allegedly called in from outside by the other party to harass and brawl.. Police are investigating the matter and taking legal action.
