MUMBAI: Bollywood producer has confirmed that Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh will lead the highly-anticipated comedy No Entry 2, a sequel to 2005 blockbuster comedy No Entry.

According to Bollywood Hungama, the casting revelation has ignited high expectations among fans, who eagerly anticipate witnessing the fresh ensemble’s interpretation of the beloved franchise.

Further enhancing the excitement, producer Boney Kapoor revealed that the actors will not only be romancing one or two, but ten heroines in the movie, which are yet to be finalised.

According to the media reports, the movie will go on floors by the end of this year.

During the promotions of Ajay Devgan starrer Maidaan, Boney Kapoor said, “All the names said are true. They are the ones playing the part (in No Entry 2). Let’s hope things work out well and it is as interesting and fun as No Entry 1. The script is absolutely fabulous. All I can say is this script is funnier than the first one.”

He continued, “The actresses will be new. Since the entire star cast has changed, this movie would have 10 actresses. Actresses aren’t finalised yet.” Boney Kapoor confirmed that the actors and director Anees Bazmee are set for the project. Meanwhile, the casting process for actresses is currently underway.

Originally released in 2005, the original movie is a comedy of errors that revolves around the escapades of Salman Khan, Fardeen Khan, and Anil Kapoor’s characters, and the ensuing chaos when their lives intertwine. The movie also starred Lara Dutta, Bipasha Basu, Celina Jaitely and Esha Deol in the lead characters. Produced with a budget of INR 200 million, it grossed INR 950 million, achieving the coveted status of an All-time Blockbuster.
