Usama Mir excluded from World Cup squad, Mohsin Naqvi received direct messages

WEB DESK: Pakistan leg spinner Usama Mir directly messaged the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, upon not being selected for the World Cup squad.

The selectors and senior team manager are unhappy with Usama Mir’s actions, and after filling out the form, PCB has not issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the league.

Usama Mir was not selected for the Pakistan team, he messaged the Chairman of PCB directly stating his position that he took the most wickets in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), as reported by Jung News.

Furthermore, it is said that when Usama Mir informed the selector and senior manager Waqar Younis about his position, a video conference was held in Ireland in which all selectors and Usama Mir participated.

During the video conference, Usama Mir presented his position, upon which the selectors briefed him about his performance. Usama Mir requested permission to play in England where NOC would be issued for the league.

Usama Mir went to England but has not been issued NOC yet. It should be noted that Usama Mir has played in two leagues and is included in the central contract category D.
