Quetta’s disabled TV artist Naseer Muhammad Shahi is forced to sell his children due to poverty.
As per ARY News, senior actor Naseer Muhammad Shahi from Quetta, overwhelmed by poverty, set up a protest camp to sell his children.
The actor said, “I even held a press conference and informed the authorities that if you do not help me, I will be forced to sell my children.”
Moreover, with teary eyes, he added, “I have set a price of forty thousand rupees for one child. Does anyone get a goat for forty thousand rupees at a livestock market?”

Naseer Muhammad Shahi further stated, “If I do not receive assistance, I will be forced to sell my daughter as well.”
He explained that the Balochistan Department of Culture has stopped his stipend, and due to his disability, he is unable to work.
Furthermore, the actor revealed that ever since the new Secretary of Culture took over, some people’s payments have been reduced, while others have been completely stopped. Only their favored individuals are receiving increased payments.
