Former President Donald Trump, who is running for office again, is reportedly safe following gunshots fired in his vicinity, according to his team.
Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung said, “President Trump is safe following gunshots in his vicinity. No further details at this time.”
The former president was playing golf at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach.

In a post on X, Donald Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr, said shots were fired at Trump’s golf course in West Palm Beach, Florida. He said a suspect had been apprehended.

According to CNN, the Secret Service said that it is working with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office to investigate a protective incident involving Trump.
Earlier, an assassination attempt was made on Trump, resulting in minor injuries.
