By WEB DESK: In a heartbreaking incident in the Alpuri area of Shangla on Monday, eight members of the same family, including women and children, lost their lives.
The family was travelling in a jeep when tragedy struck, as the vehicle veered off the road and fell into a deep ditch while navigating a turn, resulting in the demise of all eight family members onboard.
Rescue sources revealed that the jeep was en route from Belle Baba to Pagori when it lost control, attributing the accident to the deteriorating road conditions.

Prompt action from local residents ensued, as they engaged in a rescue operation and promptly transferred the bodies to the District Headquarters Hospital Alpuri.
Authorities have initiated an investigation into the accident, highlighting the poor state of the road as the primary factor contributing to the tragedy.
In response to the incident, authorities have pledged to implement measures aimed at enhancing road safety to avert similar calamities in the future.
