The scenic Saif-ul-Malook Lake in Naran has become even more beautiful, after snowfall, attracting adventure-loving tourists who have come to enjoy the breathtaking view of the snow-covered lake.

Hundreds of visitors have traveled to the lake, which is 10,578 feet above sea level, surrounded by snow-capped mountains, nice weather, and new snowfall. With the peaks gleaming like silver, the sight of the sun’s rays striking the frozen lake and mountains produces a mystical scene. The romance story of Prince Saif-ul-Malook and Princess Badiul Jamal frequently engross visitors.

The Kaghan Development Authority has sent out heavy equipment and personnel to clear the snow from the roads and guarantee visitor safety in order to facilitate access to the lake. The lake is home to numerous types of blue-green algae and boasts a diverse range of ecosystems. The lake is home to large brown trout that can weigh up to seven kilograms. Ranunculaceae, Compositae, Cruciferae, Gramineae, Apiaceae, Leguminosae, Scrophulariaceae, and Polygonaceae are among the other plant families that are found in the area.
