The construction work of the Sargodha Mini Zoo will be completed in November while indoor services will begin at the Government TB Hospital next week, Commissioner Sargodha Division Jahanzeb Awan was told on Thursday.
The official received a briefing on the construction of the Sargodha Mini Zoo in addition to the revamping of the Government TB Hospital during a meeting at his office.
The administration has already brought animals for the zoo, which will be looked after by a 50-member staff, the commissioner was told.
Commissioner Jahanzeb said that Sargodha has limited wildlife resources and the establishment of a zoo will provide better entertainment facilities for families.
The meeting was told that revamping of the ground and first floor of the Government TB Hospital had been completed. The commissioner late paid a visit to the hospital to review the ongoing construction work.
SE Public Health Engineering Syed Soulat Raza, SE Building Amanat Ali, Director Health Dr. Rana Muhammad Riaz, and other officials concerned were present on the occasion.
