The Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) relaunched the service to enhance the experience for tourists visiting the area.

The government closed the cable car, awaiting a fitness certificate from the Austrian company.

The chairlift in Patriata is managed internationally and is the longest and highest in the country, covering a distance of approximately 7 km both ways.
