GUJRAT: In a deeply tragic incident, a 22-year-old boy from Gujrat lost his life after sustaining severe burns while attempting to film a stunt for a TikTok video, involving the use of petrol to create fire.
According to reports, the victim hailed from Phulerwan village, situated on the outskirts of Gujrat.
The young man was known for creating TikTok videos to share with his social media followers.
The deceased, identified as Aamir, ventured onto his house’s roof on Saturday armed with a bottle of petrol to record a TikTok video.
In a perilous endeavor to generate flames, he poured petrol from the bottle into his mouth and attempted to disperse it into the air, according to sources.

Tragically, the flames swiftly engulfed his head, neck, and upper body, causing severe burns.
Following the accident, he was rushed to Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Teaching Hospital for treatment.
Due to the seriousness of his injuries, medical professionals recommended transferring him to Jinnah Hospital Lahore.
Regrettably, the eldest son of his family succumbed to his injuries at the hospital in the provincial capital.
His body was transported back to Gujrat on Tuesday night, where he was laid to rest in the local cemetery after funeral prayers were offered.
