ISLAMABAD: Good news for Pakistani Android users as Google Wallet – the revamped version of Google Pay – is set to make its debut in Pakistan.
According to media reports, Google has added Pakistan to the list of countries that are set to get its wallet support soon.
Although Google has not made any official announcement yet, reports say that the secure payment system of the Google will be available in Pakistan soon.
Google Wallet is a wider rollout, which includes countries like Egypt, Venezuela, Bermuda, Cambodia, El Salvador and many more.
What is Google Wallet?
It was previously known as Google Pay. It is a digital wallet that allows users to store payments, payment methods, and other essential credentials on their Android devices.
The digital wallet enables contactless payments at authorized point-of-sale terminals and makes transactions faster and more convenient.
Apart from payments, the wallet also acts as a secure hub for managing various digital passes and certificates.
