WEB DESK: The King of Fighters XV is all set to introduce its latest update, Patch 2.41.
The latest update was announced by SNK Global’s official X account. The update is set to bring major balance adjustments to all characters, with improved mechanics and other features.
What’s new in King of Fighters XV Patch 2.41
Patch 2.41 includes detailed balance tweaks for each fighter in the game. For players interested in the specifics, the patch notes are available for review via the official link.
Additionally, the update will introduce two fan-favorite characters, Vice and Mature, to the roster. Character guides for both fighters will be available, offering insights into their moves and playstyles.
King of Fighters XV Ultimate Edition release date?
Besides Patch 2.41, the King of Fighters XV will come together with the new Ultimate Edition, releasing on December 12. The edition is purely digital and will contain all downloadable content (DLC) in the game bundled with all 20 DLC characters and other two DLC costumes for the ultimate experience.

The previously mentioned 3-on-3 team-based combat is continuing the legacy of the franchise, the latest installment being The King of Fighters XV, which was released in 2022. The game features a unique combination of favorite classic characters with new fresh faces for a new experience, both well-known and new to players.
It also features many modes, such as story mode, training mode, and online gameplay, complete with rollback netcode and cross-play support.
Apart from that, it is rumored that SNK is working on a new scouting game titled Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, which will come out on April 24, 2025, for different platforms, such as PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The launch date coincides with the beginning of the SWC 2025 tournament.
The King of Fighters XV right now plays on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Windows, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
