Fans of Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6 are speculating that Rockstar Games might unveil the second trailer for the highly anticipated game in October, following a clue discovered in GTA Online.
The first trailer for GTA 6, released in December 2023, introduced the game’s setting in the fictional Vice City, which bears a resemblance to Miami, and hinted at the franchise’s first playable female character. Rockstar Games’ parent company, Take-Two Interactive, later confirmed that GTA 6 is slated for release in Fall 2025.
Since the initial trailer, Rockstar Games has kept details about the game’s features and the release date of the next trailer under wraps. However, fans believe they have uncovered a clue regarding the release date.
Rockstar Games recently posted a video on Instagram promoting a new pizza delivery scooter feature in GTA Online. Notably, the scooter’s license plate reads “PIZZ4,” with “OCT” visible in the upper left corner. Fans have speculated that combining the “OCT” and “4” suggests the second trailer could be released on October 4.

In related news, former Rockstar Games developer Obbe Vermeij recently suggested that GTA 6 may not differ significantly from its predecessor, GTA 5. “I don’t think it’s going to be wildly different from GTA V,” Vermeij said in a recent interview. “People might be a little disappointed on the first day, but it’s still going to be the best game out there.”
The Grand Theft Auto series has faced criticism for its portrayal of violence and criminal behavior, allegations that Take-Two executives have consistently denied. The series has been known for its controversial gameplay elements, including drug dealing, violent crime, and interactions with sex workers.
