Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A16 has surfaced in yet another leak, this time revealing its complete specifications ahead of the anticipated launch.
An early and unofficial listing from a European retailer disclosed detailed information about the device, marking the most comprehensive insight into its features thus far.
The leak was initially reported by SamInsider, which highlighted that the listing may have been promptly removed by Samsung. However, screenshots of the A16 listing have already circulated widely, ensuring that the information is now in the public domain.
Limited upgrades in design and performance
According to the leaked specifications, the Galaxy A16 does not feature any significant upgrades compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy A15. The device will maintain a 5,000 mAh battery paired with a 25W charger, with the camera setup consisting of a 50 MP main sensor, a 5 MP ultra-wide lens, a 2 MP macro lens, and a 13 MP front-facing camera.

The device retains a large notch on its 6.7-inch AMOLED display, which offers a resolution of FHD 1080p and a refresh rate of 90Hz. While the bezels have been slightly reduced, the overall design remains similar to the previous model, with a slim profile measuring 7.9mm and an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance.
Connectivity and performance features
The Galaxy A16 will be available in both 4G and 5G variants, with the 4G model powered by a Helio G99 processor, while the 5G version will utilize the Exynos 1330 chipset. Both models will support NFC and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.
Each variant is expected to receive at least six years of operating system upgrades; however, concerns linger regarding their performance longevity, particularly given the limited 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
As anticipation builds for Samsung’s Galaxy A16, this leak has set expectations for a device that, while visually appealing and functional, may not offer significant advancements in terms of specifications or performance compared to its predecessor.
