The exact reasons for the postponement are currently unclear, as per a report by an india news media outlet.
Musk had originally planned to visit India on April 21 and 22 for meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and to unveil plans for entering the Indian market.
Earlier this month, Musk, aged 52, had announced his upcoming visit to India and his intention to meet with PM Modi, attracting considerable global attention.
