No decision on social media ban yet during Muharram: Interior ministry
Initial reports suggested the Federal Ministry of Interior had rejected Punjab’s request to suspend social media during Ashura. However, the ministry clarified on Friday night that no decision had been made yet. A ministry spokesperson stated that “requests have been received from the provinces, but no decision has been made.”
