Senate approves resolution for national holiday on September 7
The Senate of Pakistan has unanimously passed a resolution urging the government to officially recognize September 7th as a national holiday. This date marks the historic 1974 decision by the Parliament to declare Qadianis as a non-Muslim minority. The resolution was moved by Senator Atta-ur-Rehman of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F)
