Section 144 imposed in Attock with ban on unauthorised mining
The Punjab government is enforcing Section 144 in Attock district for three months by imposing a ban on the unauthorized mining of all minerals.
Man and his nine-year-old niece drown in Karachi
A man and his nine-year-old niece drowned while swimming in the Indus River near the Hussainabad embankment on Sunday. According to police, four family members from Karachi drowned in the river, but local divers rescued two of them. However, 55-year-old Yaqoob Ahmed and his nine-year-old niece Maryam were found dead.
