The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 trophy was unveiled in Islamabad last Thursday and is set to embark on a tour of two more major cities in Pakistan. This tour comes after its initial unveiling in the US, where the first match of the tournament will be held.

After arriving in Pakistan on Wednesday night, the trophy is currently on display in front of the National Assembly in Islamabad. Over the next three days, it will travel to Lahore and Abbottabad.

On Saturday, the trophy will make its way to the National Cricket Academy in Lahore, coinciding with the final match of the T20I series between Pakistan and New Zealand at the Gaddafi Stadium. This presents a unique opportunity for fans to see the trophy up close during the match.

This prestigious trophy, dubbed “Out of this World,” will tour a total of 15 countries across four continents, showcasing in some of the world’s best stadiums and being celebrated by legendary cricketers. It aims not only to engage cricketing powerhouses but also to reach emerging cricketing nations like Brazil, Argentina, Canada, and others, fostering interest and connection with the sport.

Pakistan, placed in Group A alongside arch-rivals India, is gearing up for a highly anticipated clash on June 9 at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York.
