A police constable was martyred, and three others were injured when their vehicle, part of a convoy escorting dignitaries from twelve countries, was caught in an explosion on Malam Jabba Road in Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Moreover, the convoy included delegations from Indonesia, Portugal, Kazakhstan, and several other nations.
Swat Deputy Inspector General Muhammad Ali Khan confirmed that the blast resulted in the death of Constable Burhan, while Sub-Inspector Sar Zameen and Constables Amanullah and Habib Gul were injured.
Following the incident, police cordoned off the area and initiated a search operation for suspects. Fortunately, all diplomats were unharmed and relocated to safety before proceeding to Islamabad.

The Russian Embassy reported that the convoy “hit a mine” during its journey from Mingora to a hotel.
In response to the attack, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi condemned the provincial government for failing to control terrorism, linking the attack to hostile forces against Pakistan.
The region has seen a troubling rise in attacks on security forces, particularly after the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) ended a ceasefire last year.
Furthermore, local residents have recently protested against the increasing violence, demanding action from the government to ensure their safety and calling for compensation for the families of martyred officers.
