By Sui Southern Gas Company has completely stopped gas supply to Pakistan Steel Mills. The connection has been cut off.
The Steel Mills informed Sui Southern Gas Company about the decision to halt payments through a letter. The notice was sent by the Ministry of Industries and Production.
Moreover, Sui Southern had written a letter to Steel Mills to clarify the payment position. The spokesperson for Sui Southern Gas stated that no clarification has been received from the Steel Mills yet.

The spokesperson for Sui Southern Gas also mentioned that the institution had written a letter to the Ministry of Energy. No response has been received from there either.
In light of the decision by the Economic Coordination Committee, the gas connection to the Steel Mills was disconnected on Friday.
It is noteworthy that Pakistan Steel Mills has been closed for a long time, yet the employees remain and are being paid. The federal cabinet approves funds for the salaries of Steel Mills employees.
