A student got lucky as his ranking in intermediate exams 2024 dramatically changed after requesting a recount of his board exams.
Afaq Khalid originally received a score of 1119 marks in the pre-medical group. However, when he requested a recount, it led to an increase of 30 marks which increased his total score to 1149.

In this way, the lucky student secured the second position in the pre-medical group.
According to the controller of examinations at the Lahore board, the administration would officially announce the student’s updated ranking.
Additionally, the board has initiated an investigation in this matter.
