Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s Stree 2 has achieved remarkable success, setting new benchmarks during its third weekend. The film has registered the highest third-weekend box office figures for a Hindi film in India, as well as the highest third Sunday collections.
Globally, it has now joined the elite 700 crore club, becoming the eighth Bollywood film to reach this milestone, and has surpassed the lifetime earnings of Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 has defied expectations and carved out a substantial box office presence. By the end of its third weekend, the film had crossed the 500 crore mark in India and is on track to become the next Bollywood film to hit 600 crores, following Jawan.
The film’s success is not confined to India; it has also achieved blockbuster status internationally, with earnings exceeding 100 crores gross.

As of the latest update, Stree 2 has garnered 502.35 crores net in India over 18 days, translating to 592.77 crores gross, including taxes. Its international earnings stand at 115 crores gross. The total worldwide gross now amounts to a staggering 707.77 crores.
This impressive figure has allowed Stree 2 to surpass Gadar 2, which grossed 685.19 crores, positioning it as the eighth highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time. The film’s next target is Aamir Khan’s PK, which grossed 831.50 crores.
Although reaching this figure will be challenging due to the substantial audience already reached, entering the 800 crore club remains a viable goal given the film’s current trajectory and the lack of significant competition.
Currently, Stree 2 ranks as the second highest-grossing Indian film of 2024, with Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD leading with over 1000 crores gross worldwide.
