The horror-comedy Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, has officially become the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time.
The film reached the milestone just 34 days after its release, grossing 586 crore rupees at the Indian box office, surpassing the previous record set by Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan. With its theatrical run still ongoing, Stree 2 is expected to set even more records.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film benefited from high pre-release buzz and massive pre-sales, continuing the success of the original Stree from 2018. Fans were captivated by the sequel’s trailer, posters, and songs, leading to its rapid rise at the box office.
