The upcoming third Test match between Pakistan and England may disturb the traffic flow of the twin citiesIslamabad and Rawalpindi.

In this regard, the City Traffic Police (CTP) Rawalpindi has devised a comprehensive traffic plan.

A total of 370 traffic offices and traffic wardens will be deployed around Rawal­pindi Stadium where the match is set to take place. The officers will maintain traffic flow, diverting vehicles to alternative routes when necessary.

The designated parking areas include Shahbaz Sharif Park (motorcycles), Civil Aviation Ground (vehicles) and Degree College Ground (vehicles).

CTP has urged the public to cooperate with traffic police during the third Test match and use designated parking areas to avoid inconvenience. By following traffic instructions, citizens can contribute to a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.

When is the third Test match?

The third Test match will start from October 24 to 28th.

Two of the three Test matches took place at Multan Cricket Stadium. England won the first whereas homeside clinched the second.

Earlier the ongoing protests had led to significant disruptions in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, resulting in widespread blockades and heavy traffic during weekdays.

The army was deployed in Islamabad for more security.
