ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Netherlands have agreed to hold a bilateral series next year.

The Azaad English has learned that the cricket boards of both countries agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the development of cricket in the Netherlands.

The deal was reached after a discussion between Syed Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), and the Dutch Ambassador to Pakistan Henny De Vries.

“I understand that for both countries, there will be sports as a tool for better relations, and the determination of Pakistan shall be there to help develop cricket in the Netherlands,” commented PCB Chairman Naqvi.

Moreover, Naqvi was of the opinion that Pakistan has always been a hospitable country for Afghan refugees. In this context, it should be mentioned that the government has figured out an all-encompassing plan in order to clear the country of illegal residents.
