MELBOURNE: The Pakistan cricket selectors has announced the starting XI for the first ODI of the three-match series against Australia, starting from tomorrow (November 4).
Mohammad Rizwan, recently appointed captain for white-ball cricket, will lead the Pakistani side. The first ODI match will be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne on Monday.
Since his debut in 2015, Rizwan has played 74 ODIs and 102 T20Is, amassing 5,401 runs, including four centuries, and has made 143 dismissals as a wicketkeeper.
Earlier, Mohammad Rizwan expressed that it is a great honour to have the opportunity to captain Pakistan in ODIs and T20Is.

Rizwan replaced Babar Azam as captain ahead of the tour to Australia. Pakistan will play three ODIs and as many T20Is against Australia.
