WEBDESK: Pakistan has revealed its playing XI for the first Test match against the West Indies, scheduled to begin tomorrow on Friday at the Multan Cricket Stadium.

The team will be led by Shan Masood, with other notable players including Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Saud Shakeel, Kamran Ghulam, Salman Ali Agha, Khurram Shehzad, Abrar Ahmed, Sajid Khan, Nauman Ali, and debutant Mohammad Huraira.

For this match, Pakistan has opted for a bowling attack comprising three spinners and one fast bowler, reflecting a strategy that was successful in previous Multan Tests.

Notably, Pakistan defeated England by 152 runs at the same venue last year with a similar approach.

This match marks the first in a two-match Test series as part of the World Test Championship. Fans eagerly await Mohammad Huraira’s debut performance and the team’s overall strategy in this crucial encounter.
