Nooh Dastgir Butt, Pakistan’s renowned weightlifter, has made an extraordinary international debut by securing a gold medal at the Commonwealth Powerlifting Classic and Equipped Championships in Ascot.

The Pride of Performance Award recipient and Commonwealth Games gold medalist lifted an impressive 370kg, marking a historic achievement as Pakistan’s first-ever powerlifting gold medalist.

Nooh’s achievement is a significant milestone in the country’s powerlifting history. The talented weightlifter is set to compete in the Bench Press and Deadlift categories, where he is favoured to win two more gold medals.
