Shoaib Malik in PSL
Shoaib Malik has played in PSL under – Kings, Multan Sultans and Peshawar Zalmi – across the nine editions but never won the title.
This year PSL draft will take place in Gwadar, Balochistan, on January 11 and it will be the first time the event is hosted in the region. Â
The pick order for the draft has also been finalised. Two-time champions Lahore Qalandars will make the first pick in the platinum category and after it Karachi Kings will make its picks.
Back in 2022, Karachi Kings announced that Shoaib Malik re-joined the team. Prior to this, he resigned from captaincy.
Malik’s association with the Kings as captain remained controversial in the inaugural edition of the PSL. Under his captaincy, Kings won only two matches which forced him to leave captaincy in the middle of the tournament.Â
