Karachi Commissioner Syed Hassan Naqvi that the administration would offer special facilities for citizens, including parking and access to the stadium for Champions Trophy 2025.

This was decided in a meeting was convened by Karachi Commissioner.

These arrangements will also feature heightened security measures, with relevant institutions already implementing security protocols.

It was confirmed that comprehensive security would be in place throughout the event. The area surrounding the stadium and the routes leading to it will be decorated. 

Special parking facilities will be set up for Champions Trophy 2025 along with a shuttle service to transport visitors from the parking areas to the stadium.

The meeting was attended by officials from the police, Rangers, and other relevant agencies, who provided detailed briefings. 

The tournament will feature eight teams competing in 15 matches. Group A includes Pakistan, India, New Zealand and Bangladesh, while Group B comprises South Africa, Australia, Afghanistan and England.

The opening match is set for February 19 in Karachi, where Pakistan will face New Zealand. 

Pakistan will host a total of 10 matches, while four matches, including all three of India’s group-stage matches and the first semi-final, will be played in Dubai.
