WEB DESK: Haris Rauf has been shortlisted for the International Cricket Council (ICC) Player of the Month award for November 2024.

Besides Rauf, India’s Jasprit Bumrah, and South Africa’s Marco Jansen have also been nominated for the award.

Rauf’s standout performances in Pakistan’s historic ODI series win in Australia played a key role in his nomination. This was Pakistan’s first series victory in Australia in 22 years. The fast bowler was the top wicket-taker, claiming 10 wickets at an impressive economy of five, helping Pakistan secure a 2-1 win.

His form continued in the T20I series, where he grabbed five wickets, including a sensational four-wicket haul. He concluded the month with three more ODI wickets, bringing his November tally to 18 dismissals across formats.
